My new antistatic mat arrived late last night. I’m glad to see it this morning. Using an antistatic mat while working on phones tablets, or laptops is always a good idea. The mat prevents the creation of static which can harm circuitry and even fry a motherboard.
MacBook Pro & iPhone Backups
Yesterday, I had a client call me. I had worked with him a little while back, to setup some audio software on his iMac. He was very happy. Now, the work is for his son, who is in college. He needs a complete backup of all the files on his MacBook Pro, and a continuous backup to an external drive set in motion. I was more than happy to help. The job was a success!! When he and his father return today, to pick everything up, I will setup a backup system for the sons’ iPhone.
