Free Antivirus Protection

So, you’ve got a new laptop or desktop, and you’re friend recommends you get antivirus protection. Premium versions on the web can run from $50 and up. There’s no need. Windows 7, and Window 10 come with a built in premium antivirus protection called Windows Defender. The only thing is, Windows 7 is no longer supported in anyway, which means no virus support. If you’re running Windows 7, it’s definitely time to upgrade, for a smoother, more safe experience. Windows Defender automatically runs in Real Time Protection mode, so you’re safe as you go, and the program periodically scans the most common areas of your computer. There’s no need to call your computer onsite service guy for help. Below is how to access Windows Defender for Windows 10 users.

To access these settings, open the Start menu and select Settings. Choose the “Update & security” category and select Windows Defender. By default, Windows Defender automatically enables the real-time protection, cloud-based protection, and sample submission.
