Cable Management

If you’re like me, then you like a neat, organized workspace. It creates an ease of flow when working. Keyboards, and mice are in some cases, a wired piece of technology, & those along with you other wired devices, printers, scanners, external hard drives, the cords can get messy. I suggest going wireless for some of your devices, like the keyboard, and mouse, for instance. This creates less of a need for cable management, and a call to a computer onsite service technician.

Disable Pesky Updates

If you’re running low on space, or just tired of all the Windows updates, don’t worry, there’s a cure. You don’t need to contact pc services. The updates can slow down boot times, by processing, when you’re in the middle of work, so here’s the solution, step by step.

  1. Start the RUN command. Hold down the Windows Key, then press R.
  2. Type in all lowercase, services.msc, then hit enter.
  3. In the right pane, scroll down to the W section, and right click on Windows Update.
  4. Right click Windows Update, and click on Properties.
  5. Under the Startup Type section, drop the pull down menu and select disable. Click Apply, then ok.
