Cut Out The Middle Man

As I discussed in an earlier post, Roku Ultra is a great device for streaming. If you’re looking to buy a new tv, then the Roku TV is the one for you. It’s basically a Roku Ultra device, and a tv combined. It’s got the Roku platform built in, and that handy USB port for watching those movies you can’t find to stream. So, this Christmas, go with TCL brand Roku TV. The price isn’t bad either. It’s easy to install, and setup, so no need to have over a computer onsite service person.

Buying Refurbished

So, you’re PC system has finally seen it’s last days, & you need a new one. Where to start? First off, don’t be fooled by the Walmart $300 deal. These laptops are often bundled with a lot of unwanted software, and are extremely slow. What to look for is a capable refurbished system with at least 8gb RAM, and an SSD, for better performance. An i5 is preferable. Refurbished systems go through rigorous inspection points, and are guaranteed, or your money back. I’ve been buying refurbished for years, and have never had a problem. You can save yourself a bit of money, and get a quality system in the process, and no in home computer service needed.
